Da Vinci Diamonds

Da Vinci Diamonds review

Theme and Style

Da Vinci Diamonds is themed around the Renaissance artist and inventor, Leonardo Da Vinci.

Players will encounter several of Da Vinci’s iconic works, including the Mona Lisa and Lady with an Ermine. Gems in vivid hues are interspersed with the artwork, creating a sense of luxury.

Art-lovers and history fans may especially enjoy the style of Da Vinci Diamonds. There is something charming about finding 500-year-old art featured in a modern slot. Da Vinci would likely be quite amused to give this game a try.

Visuals and Soundtrack

The soundtrack is a jaunty tune that one might expect to hear in a Renaissance era pub. Wins are celebrated with chimes and bells, adding a celebratory vibe. For players who prefer peace and quiet, the mute button is readily at hand.

The graphics are generally of mediocre quality. The gems and gold moulding around the reels appear like animations found in a ‘90s era video game. Still, the bright colours against the black backdrop do stand out and catch the eye.

The featured Da Vinci paintings are a highlight with decent quality thumbnails in vibrant hues. Though the portraits are iconic parts of history, the subjects also feel like the game’s characters, welcoming players with enigmatic smiles.

Overall, the Da Vinci Diamonds atmosphere is festive and warm, even if some of the graphics leave something to be desired.

Gameplay and Key Statistics

Da Vinci Diamonds has five reels and three rows. The game has a total of 20 fixed win lines.

The Cascade feature means that symbols that are part of winning combinations will vanish, making way for new symbols to take their place.

This game offers a return to player of 94.94%, decisively below average for the industry.

The range of bets provided by this game ran from a minimum bet per spin of $/£/€1.00 up to a maximum of $/£/€2000 per spin.

With low-medium volatility, this game will award payouts often, but with smaller wins.

Bonus Gameplay and Special Features

The Wild symbol substitutes for all symbols except the Bonus symbol and appears on reels 2, 3, and 4 during the base game only.

Bonus symbols appear on reels 1, 2, and 3 during the base game. When players land 3 or more Bonus symbols on a payline on the first three reels, the Free Spins feature is triggered.

During the Free Spins feature, players win additional free spins by landing 3 or more Bonus symbols on any position on the reels. Landing a greater number of Bonus symbols will award a greater number of free spins as follows:

• 3 Bonus symbols — 2, 3, or 4 free spins.
• 4 Bonus symbols — 4, 6, 8, or 10 free spins.
• 5 Bonus symbols — 6, 8, 10, 12, or 15 free spins.

During the Free Spins feature, additional Scatter symbols will appear on the reels.

Conclusion

We do not recommend this low RTP (94.94%), low-medium volatility slot.

Though the artful theme has its charms, this slot’s RTP is simply too low for it to be an advisable choice. Players may wish to drop by to check it out, but they would do well to move on to slots that will give them back more of their bets.

However, Da Vinci Diamonds is quite popular, so many players have found its upsides worth the lower returns.
